Most helpful to us was Bari's essay suggestion/correction advice, the one-on-one conversations between Bari and [my daughter], Bari's prompt, sincere and knowledgeable answers to ANY question (even if some added research was involved) and the mandatory deadlines which kept requirements moving, yet not overwhelming. We interviewed several professionals as prospective admissions advisers. Dr. Norman really "clicked" with our daughter and with us. I believe it was her combination of professionalism and warmth – evident from the outset – that made it easy for our daughter to repose confidence in Dr. Norman. Notwithstanding the truly grueling and obnoxious nature of the college application process, it ended up being in many respects a positive experience for our daughter. Dr. Norman helped her figure herself out a little better in terms of identifying what she really wanted, and then helped her present herself in a genuine, straightforward way that enabled her to achieve that goal. We are very grateful.

What was most helpful was your constant effort to keep [my son] on task. [My son] is a procrastinator and having your continual email reminders to him and cc's to me helped us all to help [my son] complete things timely.

Bari did an amazing job at helping our son zero in on the best and most appropriate schools for him. She spent a great deal of time getting to know him so she could properly advise him. She and her staff were incredibly helpful at keeping our son on task during the application process. She removed the stress we had heard about, but didn't experience because of her help.
